4. The presentation of the projects will be done using only A3 format documents. Preferably 2 A3 sheets per project. Download here an example of how to enter your project. A maximum of two projects per architect/student is allowed. Maximum size: 5MB per project.
All projects should contain the following information:
Photographs, Plans, Cross section, Concept description, Project description, Name of the project, Author, Date of realisation, City, Country, the architect must declare to which category the project belongs.
5. The best projects of each area will be selected by a specialized jury. The final decision will take place during Bau 2009 (16 January 2009) and will be put online on 20 January 2009 . The decision of the jury will be without appeal. The winners in each category will receive an exclusive large format printer (details and specifications will be soon communicated).
6. The winning projects will be published in the Archi-News, free of rights, but without exclusiveness. If they wish the architects may publish their projects in other media.
7. By participating, the architects certify that they are the genuine authors and have all necessary rights of all submitted projects. It is the responsibility of the entrant to establish that there are no restrictions against entering the project by the project owner, designer or any other party. The entrant holds Archi-Bau Awards free of any liability thereof with regard to this condition.
8. The Archi-Bau Awards assumes that the right to use all photographs submitted for the Awards has been obtained from the photographer. The Archi-Bau Awards may publish submitted photographs in any format in connection with The Archi-Bau Awards. Photo credits will be given where requested.
9. Entry forms and photographs of projects may be exhibited at public exhibitions at the discretion of the organisers and displayed on the Archi-Bau Awards website.
10. All materials submitted with the entry will become the property of The Archi-Bau Awards and will not be returned to the entrant.
11. Entries may be entered into more than one category, and if in the opinion of the judges will fare better in a category other than the one entered, may at their sole discretion move the entry into any additional category.
12. The organisers of the Archi-Bau Awards reserve the right to reject any entry at their sole discretion.
13. Any entry received after the 04 January 09 will only be included at the organiser’s discretion. |
