Pavel Kazantsev wins first prize for Eco-House

Russian architector based in Vladivostok, Pavel Kazantsev recieved first prize at "Green Project-2010" Festival in Moscow, Russia. His project "Solar-5", private house with solar heating, won in "Conceptual Design" nomination.
 

November 2010.The show-contest of First International Festival of innovative technologies in architecture and building took place it Moscow Russia. Contest was organized by Union of Architects of Russia and Publishing Center «АРД-центр».

Among participants there were Russian and world companies producing innovative, environmentally friendly building and design materials, technical equipment, companies using energy-saving technologies, project companies oriented to progressive and energy-saving ways of building. 
Pavel Kazantsev, Vladivostok-based architect, won a first prize in nomination “Conceptual projects” for his project of private houses with solar heating system “Eco-House Solar-5”. Pavel Kazantsev is member of Union of Architects of Russia and winner of National Environmental Award.


Solar-5 Eco-Houses are private houses and tourists units with solar heating and solar cooling system designed in 2006-2010 in Vladivostok, Russia. The project’s advantage is following: already at architectural solution stage, without the use of active systems, the percentage of solar heating in all-house heating system is 35-57% in frosty weather (till -15C and with wind 10-15m\s).
