Applegreen building complex in Vienna
In Vienna the appartmentcomplex Herzberg Housing is completed. Designed by the in Austria based offices AllesWirdGut and Feld72, the building is noticeable because of his applegreen colour.
The most appartments of the project are situated like a 'hook' around a garden. Two housings are in the middle of the garden and one has been built outside the hook on the eastside.
The front of a few buildings runs like a stairs to the top, because of that the balconies are located diagonally above each other. The applegreen colour of the façade gets lighter going to the top.
Others housing of the complex have an covered balcony that seems to be stuck to the façade. The balconies have a white colour, that gives a contrast between the applegreen façade and the white balcony blocks.
The balconies are placed under each other in rows of four. Through diverse white stairs the people living here can reach the inside garden. The galery where the stairs leads to is located at the eastside of the complex.
