Engineers want to bloom the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower will be transformed into a big scaffold with plants. An Engineers practice will decorate the 327 meter construction in Paris with 600.000 plants. A system with rubber hoses will give water to the plants.
The plants would absorb more than 87 tonnes of greenhouse gas CO2.
The plan of Practice Ginger will cost 72 milion Euros. The idea is to place the plants in January 2013 and they will remain there until July 2016. The lights, placed in 2002, will shine through the leafs and flowers, which will make the light a little bit greener.
