ЭКОЧАШКА: The First Non-Profit  Environmental Cinema Festival - Press release

The Festival will take place February  24th – 28th. You can visit our EcoBreakfasts, take part in the evening programs and screenings, and on the weekend there are Special Days dedicated to Eco-Architecture and Reserve and Volunteering.

EcoCup is the first screening of new ecological films from all over the world here in Moscow . It is a new and interesting format of cinema, and an original idea for getting the environmental movements message to more people here in Russia .

We offer you a very new format for a Film Festival. You may enjoy your morning coffee watching a film in the  cozy ExLibris Caffe. You may take part in the Eco-Quiz afterwards and participate in the after-film discussion with other participants and  with our special guests.

We fill the EcoCup for the very first time. We want to show that Environmental Protection can yield results through exposure to the issues, discussion and spreading the word about how all of our actions have an impact upon the environment.

EcoBreakfast will take place in ExLibris Café by Turgenevsky Library from February 24th to Feb 28th.  The evening screenings will take place at the newly opened space “Nauka 254”
The Opening Meeting will be February 24 at 18.00 at Space “Nauka254”

The first screening of “Plastic addicted” by Canadian director Ian Connaher and “Age of Stupid”, for the fist time in Russian language will be shown for you at the Festival on February 25th.
