BolognaFiere and Archi-Europe jointly organize a special contest "SAIESelection" in order to select 18 projects and concepts (9 for young architects and 9 for students) on the theme “The built environment renewal. Regenerate and improve – Highly innovative and sustainable solutions".

All 18 projects and/or concepts will be presented in a special dedicated exhibition ‘Cuore Mostra Saie 2011’ in the framework of the SAIE International Building Exhibition taking place in Bologna (Italy) from October 18 to October 21, 2012.

    The driving idea guiding our project stems from the challenge of responding to the necessity for urban integration and creating optimum comfort for the residence's occupants in a convivial and intimate environment.

    The housing project proposes a collective patio with vegetation that is covered with an atrium using low technology systems from the Greenhouse prefabricated technology.
